Southeastern Wisconsin's Premier Trail

• The Ozaukee Interurban Trail is listed in the Wisconsin Department of Tourism's state biking guide 

• In 2010, the Ozaukee Interurban Trail Advisory Council was awarded a FEDDY award from the Bike Federation of Wisconsin for the best improvement to a multi-use trail for its work in completing the Trail Improvement Project.  This included 1.3 miles of off-road trail section and a new 415 foot long bicycle/pedestrian bridge over County Highway W and Interstate 43

• The Ozaukee Interurban Trail was one of the first in Wisconsin to be named a Great Wisconsin Birding Trail by the Department of Natural Resources
